IDOM has developed the Integral Systems Telecommunications Plan for the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM). This Plan aims to define and detail the technological standards of all the telecommunications systems for the operation of the railway, and the security and the new services for the users.
For this purpose, IDOM has defined the technologies of the next-generation fixed communications network, the ground-to-train communications systems, high capacity ground-to-train telecommunications (LTE/WiFi), electromechanical installations control, station ticketing, user information via public address systems and information panels, access control, integration of the station systems, centralized management and maintenance, as well as closed circuit television (CCTV) and the integration of the control center.
