IDOM has worked closely with GES and Honeywell in the development of an important solar energy system for the city of Wilmington, Delaware.
With a total area of 7,250 m² and 3,714 m² of useful photovoltaic space, the 526 kW solar photovoltaic plant designed will supply power to the city’s water filtration plant, which provides 75% of the water to the city. The solar plant consists of 2,288 modules (230 W each) connected in chains of 13 panels each. The projected annual capacity of the plant is 650 MWh.
