Digital Transformation Centres
Colombia
The project contemplates the design of a Maturity Model for Digital Transformation for SMEs and its transfer to 18 guilds and chambers of commerce of the country, thereby converting them into Digital Enterprise Transformation Centres. These centres will diagnose the companies and propose a Route of Individualized Digital Transformation. The project seeks to impact on more than 10,000 MSMEs of which 3,000 will have to implement ICT solutions.
With the digital transformation, SME can develop and improve competitiveness

The project seeks to impact on more than 10,000 MSMEs of which 3,000 will have to implement ICT solutions.
To comprehensively overcome the main barriers that prevent MSMEs from acquiring and making intensive use of information technologies – a critical factor for the development and competitiveness of the vast majority of companies in Colombia – iNNpulsa Colombia and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (MINTIC) have established an agreement to develop a strategy to generate support for companies in their processes of acquiring ICT solutions, through the so-called Digital Business Transformation (CTDE) Centres.
IDOM is collaborating with both entities in the development of this project, from the conception and development of a digital transformation model for companies, the methodology and its transfer to the Digital Business Transformation Centres, which will provide the technical assistance to effectively attend the MSMEs by applying the model, to identifying critical business processes and defining a route for their digital transformation. Once the Business Development Units (BDU) have been endorsed as a Digital Business Transformation Centres (CTDE), they will officially begin operations. For this purpose, IDOM is undertaking the monitoring of the CTDEs, in order to guarantee their proper functioning and the achievement of their objectives of intervention in the final beneficiary companies, allowing them to carry out this work efficiently and independently in the long term.
