UPR resin plant for Polynt Composites

After collaborating with Polynt Composites several times in the past in plants under their ownership, they have yet again called on IDOM for the construction of a new plant for the entire production of Unsaturated Polyester Resins (UPR), Thixo Resins and Gel Coat in the south of Malaysia, specifically in the industrial area near Johor Bahru.
This plant has been conceived with two production lines, expandable to four, with a capacity of 40 to 30 tons per recipe and an annual production capacity of 25-30,000 tons.
IDOM has carried out Basic and Detailed Engineering, as well as Procurement Management and Project Management during all the phases of the project, from the conception of the plant until its commissioning. During the construction phase, IDOM met the client’s requirements to adapt the design to the modifications of this phase.
The achievement of temporary milestones has been one of the reasons for final customer satisfaction. Production bagan two years after the beginning of the initial conceptual phase of design.
