Best presentation in ‘Nuclear Thermal-hydraulics’
The work of our colleague Cristian Garrido has been highly acclaimed
Our colleague for the Nuclear Services Division, Cristian Garrido, has been awarded the prize for the best presentation in the session of Thermohydraulics and Neutronics presented at the 45th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Nuclear Society (SNE) held this year at the Palace of Congresses of Vigo, from September 23 to 28. The work, entitled “The activities of IDOM in the field of reactor physics – Modeling of the CABRI experimental reactor” summarizes the studies carried out for the French Institute of Radioprotection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN), on the simulation of the power pulses in the CABRI experimental reactor. The award-winning paper will be published in the SNE Nuclear España magazine during the 2020 and will be accessible through the SNE website.
This Annual Meeting of the SNE, the main national level event in the nuclear sector, aims to promote knowledge and dissemination of nuclear science and technology. This year it was celebrated under the slogan “Crucial against climate change” and brought together more than 600 participants from more than 225 companies.
