Natural gas compression and conditioning station for PP12 CCPP – 2,000 MW

IDOM has developed the basic and detailed engineering for a natural gas compression and conditioning station, as part of the overall 2,000 MW PP12 combined cycle plant project for the joint venture of Arabian Bemco Contracting Co., Ltd. and GS E&C.
The project included the station itself as well as the auxiliary facilities for the process, from the regulation and measurement station of Aramco to the supply to the gas turbines. The scope of the services involved several different disciplines (civil works, architecture, mechanical installations, piping, electrical, fire and instrumentation and control).
The compression and conditioning station is composed of the following sections:
- Emergency shutdown valves section
- KO drums section
- Waterbath heaters section
- Pressure reducing station
- Compressor station
- Cyclone coalescer section
- Condensate tanks and condensate disposal stations
- Chromatograph and dew point analyzer
- Odorant tanks
- GT final run coalescers
