Managua Lake Environmental Sanitation

IDOM has developed the Managua Lake Environmental Sanitation program in the Ribera Sur. The program includes actions that seek to recover the environment of the Lake, by reducing the discharge of untreated wastewater, thereby benefiting a total population of 1.8 million inhabitants between the towns of Managua, Tipitapa and Ciudad Sandino:
- Rehabilitation and improvement of the main network of collectors in the city of Managua
- Rehabilitation and improvement of the sanitation and drinking water networks of the city of Tipitapa
- Rehabilitation, improvement and expansion of the Managua, Ciudad Sandino and Tipitapa Wastewater Treatment Plants working towards design horizon of 20 years (2023/2043)
