IDOM, a new member of ADIMDE
ASSOCIATION OF MARINE INDUSTRIES OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY
The growing activity of IDOM in both the naval and offshore sectors has been further reinforced becoming a full member of the Basque Country Maritime Industries Association (ADIMDE) in February 2020. With this step, our firm has become a part of the Basque Maritime Forum and the Spanish Association of the Auxiliary Maritime Industry (AEDIMAR), and therefore the European association Sea Europe. IDOM is contributing by adding its competences to the rest of the partners and weave a map of the maritime industry with the objective of promoting the activity and facing its new challenges.
A reference firm in engineering and consulting since its foundation in 1957, IDOM has diversified its activity to meet new challenges and introduce cutting-edge technologies, with great potential for innovation and commitment to the environment. Among others, we would like to highlight our activity in the offshore wind and marine energy sectors in which, in addition to developing projects, we cooperate with different companies in R&D projects focused on reducing costs and increasing efficiency, key factors in their development.
We also participate in other areas of the maritime industry, such as shipbuilding, increasing in recent years our participation in ship projects.
