Rail Live! 2021, the industry’s leading rail event

November 30 to December 1 at IFEMA Madrid

From November 30 to December 1, the leading exhibition and conference event for the rail sector will be held at IFEMA Madrid: Rail Live!

The focus this year is on sustainability, liberalization of the railway market and digitization of the industry. It is expected that over 4,000 visitors will be able to visit the more than 200 exhibitors, one of which will be IDOM at Stand 53.

During the two days of the event, there will be a conference space where speakers from network and infrastructure operators from around the world, private sponsors and industry associations, will discuss the transformation of the sector, the most important issues of future developments and digital innovation. During the first day, Maria Concepción Ortega Ortiz, the Global Market Infrastructure Director at IDOM, will participate in STAGE 7 (12:45 pm) in the symposium: What does rail transport and the industry need to truly be the axis of future mobility. On the second day, Alberto Alonso, BIM Manager at IDOM, will participate in Stage 5 – Digital Railway (1:00 p.m.) with the presentation: Risks and challenges in BIM Railway projects.

Having developed over 8,000 km of rail, metro and urban transport systems across the world, IDOM has a wealth of experience, a combination of knowledge of all the disciplines involved and the life cycle of the project itself. The capacity of IDOM is clear to see in some of the ambitious projects developed by the firm: Rail Baltica high-speed railway; MetroLink, the first metro line in Dublin; and the tram/LRT networks in Copenhagen and Odense, designed to achieve seamless connectivity in technologically demanding environments.
