Business Forum: Spain – United Arab Emirates

IDOM has participated in the sessions of the Business Forum, Spain – United Arab Emirates in the City of Dubai, as part of the Spanish International Companies with a presence in the Country, accompanying the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, María Reyes Maroto, Ambassador of Spain to the United Arab Emirates, Iñigo de Palacio, as well as His Excellency Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Abdullah Bin Touq Al Marrí Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates and other Spanish and Emirati Authorities.

During the acts of the Forum, both the President of the Government, as well as the Local Authorities, stressed the good relations and economic ties between both Countries, as well as the important presence of the Spanish Companies present at the Act in emblematic projects of the highest technological level.

IDOM has been represented by Fernando Pérez, Director of IDOM in Saudi Arabia, Ignacio Jose Blanco Porta, Director of IDOM in the United Arab Emirates and Juan Carlos Latasa López, Technical Director of the Oil & Gas Area and head of the Group’s advanced fuels.

During the sessions, IDOM held interesting conversations with representatives and directors of the MUBADALA and MASDAR Groups, responsible for Emirati investments in fuels, petrochemicals and new energies, about the group’s vision and strategies in advanced fuels and in hydrogen technology projects and concepts. “green” based on IDOM’s significant experience in these fields and technologies.
