City of Alicante 2030 open, inclusive, green and innovative.
The Local Action Plan of the 2030 Alicante Urban Agenda is the result of the action protocol signed between the General Secretariat of Urban Agenda and Housing of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and the Alicante City Council, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union-Next Generation, to provide the Spanish Urban Agenda with a pilot action plan project that could be of value for cities with similar characteristics.
IDOM has collaborated with the Municipal Services and the Project Coordination Service of the Alicante City Council, in the development and definition of the Local Action Plan of the Alicante Urban Agenda 2030, as well as in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of this Urban Agenda.
The purpose of the City Council is to position and present the city of Alicante 2030 as a city that is open and accessible, social and inclusive, green, prosperous and innovative, smart and friendly.
With this objective, 11 Strategic Projects of Transformation, Evolution, Growth, Modernization, and Sustainability have been defined to achieve a better future, aligned with the 10 Objectives of the Spanish Urban Agenda and with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and that enable progress towards the vision of the city of Alicante for 2030.
