Environmental consulting for the world’s largest eco-adventure park
Spain
ToroVerde plans to create the world’s largest ecological adventure park in the Sierra de Bascuñana, Cuenca (Spain). This American group wants to create a different concept from what is traditionally known as nature tourism. The project draws on the inspiring landscape of the area and combines nature tourism with a great adventure.
The park will include:
- An activity zone: zip lines, hanging bridges, pendulum swings….
- Eco-paths: hiking and biking trails.
- Hotels: 4 hotels, with secluded rooms integrated into the landscape. Construction is programmed in different phases.
- The Village, which will house the commercial, entertainment and catering facilities taking into account local products and companies working in the area.
To guarantee the correct integration of the project in the environment, IDOM has been in charge of carrying out the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), as well as the project’s Declaration of Regional Interest (DIR) documentation.
