IDOM participating in the Business Acceleration and Open Innovation Program for Startups – Xtela
IDOM is providing support for the development of the Xtela program, an international open innovation and acceleration program aimed at innovative startups from all over the world that propose innovative solutions in the fields of Industry, Health, and Biotechnology.
Once again, IDOM is supporting entrepreneurship by facilitating dialogue between companies to create collaborative links and ensure more development in key industrial sectors. The aim is for consolidated companies to find in start-ups the technology and innovation that can be applied to their processes and products in a cheaper, faster, and more flexible way than in-house R&D and, secondly, to offer start-ups a framework in which new ideas can be scaled and supported.
On October 5, the first training day of the program took place in the Xtela Tower of the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria, led by Marta Alvarez, Director of Competitiveness, and Innovation at IDOM.
IDOM functions as a technical assistance office for the design, development, implementation, communication and monitoring of the actions derived from the Xtela program. IDOM was responsible for the organization and dynamization of the event, which was attended by Cantabrian start-ups and tractor companies from the industrial, biotechnology and health sectors. This project was made possible thanks to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, Transport and Commerce of the Government of Cantabria.
