Presentation of the Bizkaia Innovation Plan for Road Infrastructure 2024-2027

A step towards the mobility of the future

On 26 September, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia presented the new Innovation and Sustainability Plan for the Road Infrastructures of Bizkaia 2024-2027. The event, held at the BAT B Accelerator Tower in Bilbao, brought together companies and agents from different sectors related to road infrastructures and innovation.

The event was attended by the Deputy for Infrastructures and Territorial Development, Carlos Alzaga. Our colleague Beatriz Chávarri had the honour of moderating a round table on “Innovative initiatives”, in which several companies shared their experiences and commitment to innovation.

The main objective of the plan drawn up by IDOM with the joint participation of the Teleco, ITS & Security, and Competitiveness and Innovation areas, is to position Bizkaia as a benchmark in the implementation of sustainable, connected, automated and cooperative mobility.
