Phase 3 of the New Central Highway, the largest infrastructure project in South America, begins!
The Peruvian Government, in collaboration with PMO Vías, has launched Phase 3 of the New Central Highway. This project includes 185 km of road, of which more than 36 km will be tunnels and 100 viaduct structures, with an investment of US$5 billion. The road will connect Lima to the 4,600 meter elevation in the Andes, in a technically challenging route that is crucial for the region’s development.
This phase includes the bidding for Construction Supervision and Construction, which will be carried out in packages. The process begins with a market survey to identify the interest of international companies to participate in the different tenders, culminating with the awarding of contracts by the Peruvian Government.
IDOM collaborates with PMO Vías, participating in all the design phases, with the commitment to guarantee efficient and quality practices in the infrastructure of Peru and South America.
