IDOM at Autodesk University 2024: Innovation and Digital Delivery in Railway Projects
This October, our BIM & Digital team attended Autodesk University 2024 in San Diego, the annual event that brings together specialists from the AEC sector to explore advances in technology and methodologies.
IDOM excelled with two presentations focused on the digital delivery of railway projects, where Victor Aparici and Daniel Fernandez shared success stories such as Rail Baltica, DART+ in Ireland and the Fehmarnbelt tunnel, the latter where IDOM leads the design of mechanical, electrical and emergency systems.
In addition, Marta Betancor presented the automation processes implemented in Fehmarnbelt, which optimize times and reduce human errors.
The conference was an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and reaffirm our commitment to advanced digital tools, ensuring quality and efficiency in each project and keeping us at the forefront of the AEC sector.
