Santiago drives its transformation towards a sustainable and innovative future

The Competitiveness, Innovation and Health (CIH) team in Chile organized a meeting with more than 200 participants from the regional CTCI ecosystem in the context of the design of the Regional Policy on Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation (CTCI), attended by authorities, representatives of the public and private sector, academics and researchers.

The main advances of the consultancy were presented by the Regional Government of Santiago and 12 co-creation working groups were formed, devising key actions for the achievement of the two missions proposed by the Policy: “Sustainable and Resilient Santiago Future” and “Intelligent, Safe and Equitable Santiago”.

The meeting allowed gathering valuable information to finalize the design of the Policy and establish a clear roadmap to face regional challenges and turn Santiago into a benchmark in sustainability and innovation.
