Jubail 3A (600,000 m³/day), and how the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) allows for the optimization and quality assurance of engineering works

SEPCOIII once again entrusted IDOM with the execution of the basic and detailed engineering within its scope for the Jubail 3A plant (600,000 m³/day), as well as the integration of the engineering developed by the technologist.
This project marks a new milestone in the field of desalination plants hybridized with photovoltaic plants, as it includes a solar field with an installed capacity of 45 MWp.
In addition, this plant was awarded by MEED in 2023 as the Desalination Project of the Year in MENA.
