App design for Bilbao taxis
Since 2005, IDOM has been collaborating with the Bilbao City Council to enhance urban mobility. As part of this strategy, we launched TaxiBilbao, a mobile application that facilitates taxi requests within the municipality without destination restrictions.
TaxiBilbao allows users to view the location of the assigned taxi, the estimated arrival time, the route, and the maximum price in real-time. Additionally, users can rate the service at the end of their journey.
IDOM has supported the City Council in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of this solution, which includes TaxiBilbao Gidariak for independent taxi drivers and a control center for managing the service. With this initiative, IDOM is promoting the digitalization and improvement of transport in Bilbao.
