Award winners at the Landscape Middle East awards 2024

The prestigious Landscape Middle East awards (LMEA) 2024 gala took place on November 20. Organized by Landscape Middle East, in collaboration with the International federation of landscape architects (IFLA) Middle East and the Saudi society of landscape architecture, the LMEAs recognize the most outstanding landscape architecture proposals in the Middle East.

We are delighted to announce that one of our projects was among the award winners. The centre of excellence for Al-Usayla nursery, research and visitor centre (Wahah), developed for NEOM, received the second prize in the “Unbuilt project” category. For us it was a way of recognizing the effort, dedication and talent of our entire team.

The event, which was also an opportunity to highlight our knowledge and experience, was attended by our colleagues Fernando Pérez, Manuela Casado, Nour Slimen and Carlos García Puente.

During the round tables, Nour Slimen and Carlos García Puente represented IDOM by sharing our vision and contributions in landscaping projects in Saudi Arabia.

The occasion was made even more special by celebrating with our client, Ahmed Baadhem, who that same day was recognized with a lifetime achievement award, an accomplishment we share with great pride.

We would like to extend our most sincere congratulations to all those who have participated in this project, directly or indirectly, and acknowledge the collective effort that has led us to achieve this accomplishment.

Thank you all for making this success possible!
