Bambey and Saint Louis universities among the 200 best buildings constructed since 1975
According to the guide to contemporary architecture developed by the Fundación Arquitectura Contemporánea
The C-Guide, a guide to contemporary architecture published by the Fundación Arquitectura Contemporánea in collaboration with the Cosentino Group, has just presented a selection of 200 works that, as they point out, “respond in an exemplary manner to the challenges and opportunities of contemporary architecture in the world.”
The list includes works created after 1975 that, according to the selection committee, “represent the most relevant and promising avenues of contemporary architectural practice.
The team behind the guide traveled the world looking for projects that ask people how they want to live, rather than telling them how to live; that are committed to community living; that combine the latest technology with traditional building wisdom; that confront the problem of rural depopulation; an architecture that recycles, that understands itself as a process, and that strives for equity.
These include our projects for the Universities of Bambey and Saint Louis in Senegal.
