Cathedra of Deusto University
Generating talent in the field of Industry 4.0
In recent years, the term Industry 4.0 has entered our vocabulary. The concept involves an important positive change in manufacturing processes, as automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies are introduced. It is now accepted that we have already entered a period that some consider to be the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This raises the need to train people to achieve the optimal integration of these new technologies into industrial processes.
Anticipating these training needs, the University of Deusto has launched the Digital Transformation Industry Cathedra, a channel of work for the university. This also represents an important opportunity for IDOM to increase collaboration with the University in the area of Industry 4.0. This collaboration work will involve generating talent and value for the industrial and business network, by carrying out informative activities, which will be both prescriptive and formative.
