Chicago Athenaeum Award
Museum of Architecture and Design gives us the International Architecture Award 2017
The Chicago Athenaeum (Museum of Architecture and Design) and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies recently passed judgement on their 2017 International Architecture Award, deciding to award it to our Master Plan for the College of Hotel Management, Tourism and Gastronomy in Santa Maria del Mar (Peru), amongst other projects.
Acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards worldwide, the International Architecture Award recognises the best works worldwide in the fields of architecture, landscaping and urban planning. In this edition, in which there was a record number of submitted proposals, the jury, gathered in Dallas, shortlisted a total of 24 projects from 27 countries.
On September 8th, coinciding with their annual The City and The World Symposium, the Chicago Athenaeum will inaugurate in Athens a special exhibition on the award-winning buildings.
