Conchi Ortega, Onda Cero Cantabria Woman Award 2024

¡We are proud to announce that our colleague Conchi Ortega has won the 6th Onda Cero Cantabria Woman of Onda Cero Award. This prestigious award, presented by the President of Cantabria, María José Sáenz de Buruaga, recognises her outstanding career as a civil engineer and her global impact on railway projects.

With a career spanning more than 27 years and experience in 27 countries and 56 cities, Conchi is a reference in the railway sector and an example of female leadership in a traditionally male-dominated industry. She currently holds the position of Corporate Global Market Lead at IDOM, is Vice President of MAFEX and Vice Dean of the College of Civil Engineers of Cantabria.
