ERTC2020 Virtual – Connecting the World’s Downstream Leaders

The World Refining Association has been the global link between refineries and the main supply companies in the Oil & Gas sector for more than 20 years. Among the numerous activities and events that it organizes is the ERTC (European Refining Technology Conference). It is the largest and most senior meeting platform in Europe for the refining sector.
This year’s edition, ERTC 2020 (Madrid), will be held on November 17 and 18. Given the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, the event will be online. These sessions will bring together numerous high-level representatives of the international downstream industry, including IDOM. 1-2-1 meetings will be held. In addition to collaborating as an official sponsor, IDOM will participate on the 18th as a speaker in a session entitled EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED II) and the EU refinery of 2030. Navigating the world of residues and biofuel technologies. The main topic will be on the circular economy and new technologies for the production of biofuels in the refinery of the future in Europe. The presentation will be made by our colleagues Flor Lucía de la Cruz and Modesto Fernández.
