TALKING ABOUT SKYSCRAPERS
NATIONAL RADIO OF SPAIN
On January 22, the popular Spanish radio program, Memoria de Delfín, presented by the journalist Arturo Martin Lafuente, examined the world of skyscrapers. To discuss the subject, Arturo invited two experts from IDOM: Francisco Javier Quintana, an architect who specializes in skyscrapers, and Carlos Castañón, a civil engineer specializing in high-rise building structures and Director of Structures Architecture Area of IDOM.
Among the topics discussed were: the materials used to build them, architectural strategies, uses of the buildings, security, and their vulnerability.
