Hat-trick at the BIMFRA Summit 2024!
IDOM participated in the BIMFRA Summit 2024, one of the most important Spanish-speaking events on BIM in Infrastructure, on June 20th. This event brought together civil engineering experts from the sector’s leaders to share innovative projects and knowledge on the digital, sustainable and resilient transformation of the industry.
Our participation in the event was very important, as we were one of the companies with the largest presence, demonstrating our commitment to the development of the sector and our commitment to innovative methodologies that ensure better management of our projects throughout their lifecycle.
Our colleagues Giselle Debs Benzo and Daniel González de Suso presented the paper “BIM Project to Improve Water Quality in Lake Ohrid: Challenges and Achievements”. This complex and ambitious project was managed and developed using the latest AEC methodology with the clear objective of improving the water quality of the lake: BIM.
Marta Betancor Falcón presented “Application of the ETS BIM Manual: Detailed Design of Euskotren Subway Depot”, highlighting the accuracy and efficiency that the use of BIM brings to the design and the challenges faced during the implementation process.
In addition, Alberto Alonso López participated in the round table “Trends and opportunities of digitalization in large infrastructure projects”, where the most relevant issues for the future of our infrastructures were discussed. He contributed to the discussions with his experience and vision.
In conclusion, IDOM’s participation in this event reaffirms our commitment to innovation and excellence in the civil engineering sector. It also highlights us as a leader in the implementation of BIM for the sustainable and efficient development of infrastructures.
