IDOM at two of the UAE’s largest water events
Last February, IDOM was proud to have a stand at the 2nd MENA Stormwater & Wastewater Forum y 6th MENA Desalination Projects Forum 2025, a key event in the water sector held in the UAE. For two days, industry experts, researchers and leading companies shared knowledge on the future of water management.
Our presence at the event allowed us to exchange ideas with specialists and present innovative solutions to address the challenges facing the sector. Some of the highlights from the event included:
- Sustainable water management in MENA: The importance of strategic policies to ensure water security in the region was highlighted.
- Energy-efficient desalination: Advances in new membranes and materials that are transforming the industry and reducing environmental impact were presented.
- Rainwater harvesting: In line with the Sponge Cities concept, smart solutions for converting runoff water into a usable resource were discussed.
- Digitization of wastewater: The application of AI, satellite data and real-time monitoring is revolutionizing water management.
We look forward to the next chapter, transforming the region’s water infrastructure and creating more resilient and sustainable cities and communities to meet the global water challenges of today and tomorrow.
IDOM would like to thank all those who visited us and participated in these discussions. These meetings reinforce our commitment to innovation and the development of sustainable water management solutions.
We will continue to contribute to the transformation of water infrastructure in the MENA region to create more resilient and sustainable cities.
