IDOM designs the airport systems for the new Warsaw airport

CPK (Centralny Port Komunikacyjny) has awarded IDOM the services for the Design and Integration of the ICT and airport systems that will support the processes and functionalities for the new airport to be located near Warsaw (Poland).

Considered the largest infrastructure project in Europe today, the new multimodal transport hub is challenging the integration of air, rail and road transport.

With a capacity of 40 million passengers in the first year of operation in 2028, and rising to 65 million in 2060, the new airport will be the main gateway to Central and Eastern Europe.

IDOM is collaborating on this project with McCor Airports Solutions and Airports of Paris Engineering (ADPi), tackling the integrated design of the Information, Communication and Technology Systems (ICT), as well as the Special Airport Systems (SAS) for the entire airport.

With the challenge of proposing innovative solutions that will lead to the implementation of one of the best world-class airports, the work to be carried out by IDOM is key to the smooth operation of the new airport. The incorporation of 5G connectivity, artificial intelligence, machine learning or biometric security systems, guarantee a high quality airport operation, offering passengers an optimal travel experience.
