IDOM takes part at the EXPOBIM 2019 International Seminar
The second edition of EXPOBIM, the largest international BIM fair in Latin America, took place on August 7 and 8, 2019. The main focus has been Mining and Construction in the fields of innovation, virtual construction, suppliers and training.
The event was held at the Autonomous University of Chile, Providencia, where in addition to the intervention of more than 20 experts in the International Seminar, over 30 important companies have stands to attend queries and interact with the most relevant actors of BIM in Chile and other agents in the Mining and Construction sector.
In this context, IDOM has not only been present with a stand but our partner Javier Bailly-Bailliere, Mining Director of IDOM, has participated in the morning session of the International Seminar. He has shared IDOM’s experience and knowledge under the title “Implementation of BIM methodology in projects of industrial complexes“, with a significant attendance and good reception among the specialized public.
This event is especially significant because, starting in 2020, it will be mandatory that all companies presenting projects to the public sector must incorporate BIM technology.
