IDOM has been at Autodesk Rail Summit 2022
Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology is becoming increasingly popular within the railway sector. Applying this collaborative technology to railway projects is the objective of IDOM and other companies that attended the event held in Amsterdam
On November 9 and 10, IDOM participated in the Autodesk Rail Summit event in Amsterdam presenting case studies on the railway industry. The Rail Summit is an Autodesk event that brings together different stakeholders from the railway sector in order to share the vision and developments within the industry in relation to the digitisation of the sector.
Our colleagues, Miguel Angel Meneses de la Cruz (Construction BIM Manager) and Victor Aparici Godoy (Infrastructure BIM Manager) have participated in these two interesting seminars: BIM 360 and Automation for Dublin’s DART & West Rail electrification Project and Modeling railway assets using Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit and automated Dynamo workflows.
IDOM uses Civil 3D, Revit and automated Dynamo and Phyton workflows to create complete, multidisciplinary railway BIM models to meet demanding deadlines. For this reason, we have been invited to participate in the event thereby giving us the opportunity to present interesting material in an informal setting to discuss opportunities and successes with industry leaders.
