IDOM immersed in the progress of Water Loss 2024
Our colleagues Daniel Chamorro Camacho and Teresa Extremo Martín attended the Water Loss 2024 Congress organized by the International Water Association (IWA), which was held this year in Donostia/San Sebastian. For four days, from April 14 to 17, they were immersed in the latest advances, strategies and applications of international best practices in the management of unaccounted for water.
Water Loss 2024 marked a milestone by becoming the first bilingual English/Spanish conference on water loss management. Since its inception in 2002, organized by the Water Loss Specialist Group (WLSG), the event has established itself as the leading global platform in its field.
From the evaluation and design of NRW strategies to the analysis of successes and failures around the world, the fourteen main topics discussed at Water Loss 2024 cover a wide range of critical areas for improving water management and reducing losses. We at IDOM are proud to be part of this global knowledge exchange and look forward to applying the lessons learned to further contribute to sustainable water development.
Thank you Water Loss 2024 and see you next time!
