IDOM silver sponsor of the IWA-YWP Spain
The 4th National Young Water Professionals Conference (IWA-YWP Spain), a key event for the development and innovation of the new generations in the water sector, took place in Bilbao from 29 to 31 October. The YWP Spain network, part of the International Water Association (IWA), was recognised as the best YWP Chapter in the world and stands out as the largest network of young professionals in the sector in Spain.
As a Silver Sponsor, IDOM supported this event, with the participation of many experts from the organization:
- Juan David Guerrero presented a flood study in Burundi as part of IDOM’s multi-risk analysis in the country.
- Elena Calcerrada Romero presented a poster on the role of youth in water governance, based on her experience in the World Youth Parliament for Water network and her participation in the 6th WYPW Assembly in Bali.
- Marco Rizziere Narvaez intervened in a round table on how to attract new generations to the water sector, where he shared his experience leading teams of young engineers.
