International Exhibition of Public Works in Algeria

Specializing in the construction sector, public works and its auxiliary industry, the International Exhibition of Public Works (SITP), brings together, multiple professionals in the sector each year. Since the first edition in 2003, the exhibition has grown year after year to become a reference event in the public works sector in Algeria.

In the 2016 edition, held at the Exhibition Hall of Algiers from November 24 to 27, the main construction projects and public works projects of the country were presented: ports, roads, rail, light rail and airports.

One of the projects presented to the academics and professionals attending the event was the East-West Highway, an infrastructure project that crosses the entire country for the Moroccan border to the Tunisian border, a total of 1,200 km, and in which IDOM is participating.

Our colleagues, José Manuel Lima and Sahbi Klai were invited by Algérienne de Gestion des Autoroutes (AGA) to make a presentation on the “Importance of electrical energy for highway telecommunications systems”.
