Intipampa 40MW Solar plant – Official inauguration
The president of Peru, Martín Vizcarra, recently attended the official inauguration of the 40 MW Intipampa solar power plant in Moquegua, Peru. He was accompanied, among other dignitaries, by the minister of energy and mines of the country, Francisco Ísmodes.
Once it entered into operation, the plant, located in the province of Mariscal Nieto in southern Peru, became the second largest power plant in the country.
The construction of the project was carried out by Engie Energía Perú, who contracted IDOM to provide Owner’s Engineering services, from the initial feasibility studies to the commissioning of the plant.
