Introducing the Monumental Stadium and Camp Nou in Chile
GoLatam Summit 2023. The future of sports architecture
On October 2 and 3, the 2023 edition of the GoLatam Summit, one of the most important events on sports architecture in Latin America, was held in Santiago de Chile.
Organized by Cruzados SADP and the sports marketing agency VS, it has become a forum for discussion on the future of stadiums, arranged in six blocks:
- New revenues and business development
- Trends and education
- Innovation and digital transformation
- Stadium safety and operation
- Infrastructure and projects
- Fan engagement
Every year, GoLatam brings together professionals related to the soccer industry: from clubs to federations, organizations such as Conmebol (the South American Football Confederation), business schools and technology providers, mainly from Latin America and Europe. The event promotes knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices in all areas of the industry.
IDOM participated with a presentation of the company’s most recent football stadium projects, such as the transformation of mythical stadiums that are icons in their respective cities, like River Plate’s Monumental and Futbol Club Barcelona’s Camp Nou.
The importance of these stadiums in their cities was also discussed, and how they offer new opportunities not only for football clubs, but also for citizens.
The event concluded with a visit to the construction site of the new Cruzados stadium we are building in Santiago.
