On September 20, the Internationalisation of Cultural and Creative Enterprises (Internacionalització d’Empreses Culturals i Creatives) Platform of the Generalitat Valenciana was presented at the Filmoteca de València, at an event that was broadcast on streaming, attended by the Regional Secretary for Culture and Sport, Ximo López, and attended by more than a hundred agents from the Valencian artistic, cultural and creative sectors. At the event, performing arts, dance, publishing and design companies shared their experiences in international markets, and the IDOM technical assistance team explained the characteristics of the platform, as well as the elements that promote the internationalisation of the agents that make up the creative economy.
The Internacionalització Platform (Spanish) facilitates access to foreign markets for companies in the creative industry and cultural production sector in the Valencia Region. The IDOM consultancy area, through a technical assistance contract, will be responsible for the start-up and implementation of the platform. The agents in the sector (performing arts, visual arts, music, books, audiovisual, film and photography, design, cultural heritage and popular culture, museums and video games) based in the Region of Valencia have access through the platform to international competitiveness diagnosis services, tutoring and training sessions, among others. In addition, an opportunities observatory has been set up to provide information on international calls for proposals and projects that Valencian cultural agents can access.
