National highway control center design for Georgia
The Department of Highways under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has signed a contract with IDOM for the conceptual design of the country’s new National Highway Control Center.
The project marks a significant step forward in the improvement of Georgia’s road infrastructure. The construction of new roads is not only about sustainability and traffic efficiency, but also about user safety.
From IDOM, as experts in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and control center design, we will provide our knowledge to define the control center requirements and prepare the necessary tender documents (RDNHCC). In addition, we will provide specific training to the technical staff of the Road Department to improve their understanding of ITS systems and their current capabilities.
