Our young professionals from the water division participating in the YMP Congress
The Young Water Professionals (YWP) network is a global initiative of the International Water Association (IWA) promoted and supported by the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS), with the aim of contributing to the present and future of the water sector in Spain
From 16th to 19th November, IDOM participated in the III IWA YWP Spain 2022 Congress organized by the state network of Young Water Professionals (YWP) at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria de la Universitat de València (ETSE-UV). The Congress, intended for both YWP members and other interested people, brought together more than 200 participants.
Our young water professionals Elena Calcerrada Romero, Daniel González de Suso, Santiago Navarro García and Dalia Dandan had the opportunity to meet and interact with other professionals in the sector, as well as learn about the latest developments in research and innovation. Elena participated in the Congress Organizing Committee and also moderated the Water Cycle and Environment session. And Daniel presented the poster Environmental Sanitation Programme on the South Bank of Lake Managua – UASB Technology Application.
At IDOM we support this type of initiative, and we encourage our young people to be part of the new generation of water leaders.
