Participating in the “Tramway Revolution” conference in Florence

On the occasion of the “Tramway Revolution” conference, held at the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, IDOM had the pleasure to participate in the round table of professionals sharing our Zaragoza tramway project.

It was a great opportunity to discuss urban transport in Italy, with a focus on the new tramway projects in Florence, presented by the Assessore de la Regione Toscana, Stefano Baccelli and the Mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella.

Our colleagues Arianna Palaferri, Italian Market Manager for Infrastructures, and Juan Pablo Romero, Tramway Project Manager, spoke about Line 2, which complements the currently operating Line 1 of the Zaragoza Tramway. They also talked about how it has been adapted to the historic center, highlighting the technical solutions adopted to avoid vibration and interference problems.
