Participation in the development of the new UNE standard for intelligent ports
The new UNE 178110 standard presented by Puertos del Estado and UNE aims to establish the requirements to evolve towards smart ports, promoting sustainability, interoperability and advanced digital services.
IDOM’s participation in key initiatives such as the development of the new UNE 178110 standard reinforces our commitment to digital transformation and port innovation. We accompany the Port of Seville to ensure the alignment of the PRISMA project (as a smart platform for ports) with standards such as this new UNE 178110 Standard.
This will reinforce IDOM’s role in other innovative projects that IDOM is part of, such as the European Union’s DOME marketplace and the OTI project in the Port of Algeciras for an interconnected port ecosystem, with services that benefit both logistics players and port cities.
We believe that these efforts will allow us to adopt the measures reflected in the standard and support ports in achieving it.
