Presentation of the progress of the Public Procurement of Innovation Strategy (PPI) of Castilla y León
IDOM has been developing the Escala Program, the Public Procurement Strategy for Innovation (PPI) of Castilla y León. The Castilla y León Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE), through the Technical Office, set out to improve innovation and business competitiveness in the community, and they have called on IDOM to accompany them in the implementation of this strategy, making public enterprises ‘tractor’ entities from the demand side to provide quality and innovative public services.
Presentation of the progress of the Escala Program, aimed at those who develop technological solutions in the field of entrepreneurship and open innovation
On September 29, the advances of the Escala Program will be presented at a conference aimed at all those public entities interested in undertaking PPI, as well as companies, start-ups, entrepreneurs, universities and technology centers that develop technological solutions in the field of entrepreneurship and open innovation.

During the day, PPI actions promoted by ICE, the map of agents in the region and the progress made in the three strategic lines of the Program (Agenda) will be presented:
- CIBER: Presentation of the resolution of the first Pre-commercial Public Procurement (PPI) in Europe in the field of cybersecurity
- PATH: Presentation of the conclusions of the Preliminary Market Consultation that was launched in January 2021, as well as the next tender
- PICs: launch of the Preliminary Market Consultation of the CAR-CYL Project, a PPI project focused on the conservation of cultural heritage in Castilla & León
In addition, the event will count on the participation of Teresa Riesgo, the General Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MCIN), and Ana Isabel Rodríguez Belda, the Head of the PPI Office Department of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), who will discuss the importance of the PPI and the opportunities and initiatives of both organizations regarding the new lines of financing available within the recovery plan and in the new programming period 2021-2027.
