Present at the “Design for health” Seminar
At Roca Madrid Gallery
Last April 25th, the Roca Madrid Gallery organised an event about the contributions of architecture and design in the field of healthcare. Invited to this episode were Marta Parra Casado and Angela E. Müller, founding architects of the Parra-Müller Maternity Ward Architecture studio; Rui Maia, architect, partner at IDOM and expert in Hospital Projects and Jacobo Ordás, design director at Rafael de La-Hoz Architects studio.
Each speaker did a presentation on some of the most recent projects in the field of healthcare. Rui Maia presented the CUF Descobertas hospital, located in Portugal.
After the presentations, a round table took place on the new approaches and tendencies that architects perceive and develop in order to contribute healthcare solutions. There was also a debate, open to the participation of the public, in which transversal topics such as welfare, interior design, public spaces, chromotherapy, ventilation or illumination were also discussed.
