Recognized for our sustainable solutions in the chemical industry
The chemical industry, vector of the economy, met at the Iberquimia 2024 event on October 24th at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC). This gathering, aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, became a key meeting point to drive the development of more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. With a program ranging from energy efficiency to digitalization, including industrial safety, the focus was on innovation and sustainability.
Our colleagues from Manufacturing Technical Area, Luis Ángel Ripoll, director, and Iñaki Fernández Ochoa, head of chemical plant business, attended the event.
It is worth mentioning that IDOM was recognized with the Iberquimia Sustainability Award, an award collected by Iñaki, who highlighted the power of our engineering services in transforming the industry, convinced that our contribution will continue to play an increasingly important role in the transition towards a circular economy, inviting everyone to join us on our journey to innovate and seek creative solutions to build a more sustainable future.
Examples of our commitment include the projects developed at IDOM to help the petrochemical industry transition to more sustainable production, as well as our significant collaboration in the deployment of vehicle electrification, both in the upstream industry that feeds the battery plants and in the recovery of key materials that can be extracted from waste, reducing the need to introduce new raw materials into the chain.
Iñaki also invited all attendees to join us on our journey to innovate and seek creative solutions that will allow us to build a more sustainable future.
