Steel Tech 2021 – New internacional event for the iron and steel sector
OCTOBER 19 - 21, 2021 IN THE BILBAO EXHIBITION CENTER
IDOM is pleased to announce the inaugration of this new biennial professional event, STEEL TECH, whose objective is to become the international reference meeting point in southern Europe for the steel sector.
On December 3, SIDEREX, a steel cluster association, and BEC signed the collaboration agreement for the organization and promotion of this congress, which has the collaboration of UNESID, the SPRI Group, and the Basque Government. IDOM, a member of Siderex since its inception, is actively participating in the conception and implementation of the event.
In this first edition, from October 19 to 21, 2021, the main protagonists will be the technological advances produced throughout the entire value chain, the most promising ongoing research and technological innovation in the steel industry.
STEEL TECH will spread out over the congress area with the exhibition area, promoting knowledge transfer and networking, as well as facilitating commercial relations. During two full days, national and international speakers of great prestige will address the great challenges and trends of the sector and will contribute their own experiences. On the third day of the event, technical visits to different plants will be organized. Supplier companies from different levels of the value chain of the steel sector will participate in the exhibition area, to promote their products and services.
