AEDIP ORGANIZES AN EVENT ON INTEGRATED PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN TIMES OF CRISIS
On December 15, 2020, the annual event of the Spanish Association of Integrated Project Management (AEDIP) took place. On this occasion the title of the event was: Success Stories in Project Management – Integrated Project Management in times of crisis.
The conference, held online, was led by José Gil, the General Secretary of the association, and opened by Leticia Sauco Sevilla, President. During the institutional welcome, she described the impact that the pandemic has had on companies and highlighted the commitment of partners in difficult times.
Then, after a video summarizing 2020, the current situation of the sector and the challenges in the near future was discussed, followed by the presentation of the three finalist projects that aspired to be recognized as the Best Project Management for 2020. Actio Project, IDOM and Arup presented their best work and explained the different strategies they have been implementing and the difficulties they have had to respond to in order to meet their client’s objectives.
In the case of IDOM, Miguel de Diego presented the management of the construction of Puy du Fou España, a historical entertainment park located in Montes de Toledo, spread over more than 30 hectares.
The event ended with the 2020 Awards ceremony.

Puy du Fou Park
In this project, IDOM provides project management services, assisting Puy du Fou España in the leadership and governance of the project during the design and construction phases until it is put into operation. It also complements its service towards a more comprehensive assistance with the executive management, the drafting of the project and the construction management of the urbanization, the drafting of the project for two of the park's main buildings, and the preparation of the strategic environmental study.
