TelekoGaua 2024 – IDOM at the Basque ICT Night
On March 14, the eighth edition of TelekoGaua, the Basque ICT Night, took place at the Olatua Cruise Terminal in Getxo, a flagship event that brings together the most important personalities and companies in the Information and Communication Technologies sector in the Basque Country, in which IDOM participates as a sponsor.
The event takes place every two years and is organized by the Association of Telecommunications Engineers of the Basque Country (AITPV) and the Association of Telecommunications Engineers of the Basque Country (COITPV). Its aim is to raise the profile of ICT as a factor of economic and social progress.
The day began with the technical session “Projects that transform the Basque Country” held at the B Accelerator Tower (BAT) in Bilbao and ended with a dinner attended by leading companies and professionals in the sector, and institutional representatives of the Basque Country. During the event, awards were presented to Basque companies in the sector whose work has been a model for the world of ICTs. The ICT Company Award was presented to SATLANTIS, while the ICT Personality Award was given to Arantxa, current Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government.
IDOM was represented by Juan José Bermejo, Xabi Elustondo, Beatriz Chávarri, Maldera Crespo and Agustín Molero. The evening was organized to enhance relations, share experiences, and strengthen synergies.
