The SAICA RDI building receives the award for Best Sustainability and Well-being Initiative
On 27 October, the 3rd Edition of the Aragonese Building Gala took place, where the SAICA RDI building received the award in the category of Best Sustainability and Wellbeing Initiative.
The jury particularly valued: “the energy savings, the minimal environmental impact of the building and its multiplying effect on society’s awareness”.
The building, which obtained LEED GOLD certification in the New Construction category, has become a benchmark in terms of active and passive measures that promote sustainability and care for the environment.
One of its most outstanding features is its thermo-activated structure system, which uses the stable temperature of the subsoil to regulate the building’s interior climate, providing a comfortable environment with minimum energy consumption. It is a pioneering solution that demonstrates IDOM’s commitment to innovation in energy efficiency.
