Triple victory at the International Architecture Awards
Our sports center in Tarbes, AGUR's new headquarters and the Nantes car park
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies have just announced the winning projects in their International Architecture Award (IAA) 2024. This year we are happy to announce that among them are no less than three IDOM works: the sports center in Tarbes, awarded in the Sports and recreation category, and the new AGUR headquarters and the parking facility in Nantes, both with honorable mention.
This award comes in addition to those we received at the IAA in 2023 for the Nou Camp Nou, in 2022 for the Beronia Winery in Ollauri, in 2020 for the Biocruces Institute, in 2018 for the Beronia Rueda Winery, and in 2017 for the Master Plan of the University of Gastronomy, Hotel Management and Tourism in Santa María del Mar (Peru).
The IAAs, now in their 19th edition, are the oldest international awards and among the most prestigious recognizing the quality of projects worldwide.
In 2024, the awards received more than 850 entries.
The official awards gala will be held on September 21 at the Acropolis. In parallel, an exhibition of the winning projects will be inaugurated on September 20 at the Contemporary Space Athens. The exhibition, entitled “The City and the World”, will be open to the public until October 6
