The company JL French Ansola emerged in 1998 after the acquisition by the American Corporation JL French of the company Viuda de Ansola, located in the municipality of Etxebarria and dedicated to the manufacture of aluminum parts, mainly for the automotive sector. Said corporation, headquartered in Sheboygan (Wisconsin), owns companies worldwide -USA, Mexico, UK, Germany, and Spain- that are manufacturers and suppliers of aluminum parts for major automotive brands.
JL French Ansola has executed the project of a new Aluminum Foundry Plant, with a surface area of 10,000 m², accommodating the Fusion, Injection and Finishing processes, by installing two reverberatory furnaces of 5 t/h capacity and 10 injection machines from 900 t to 1,200 t. The process ends with finishing machines such as continuous tunnel shot blasting machines, machining centers and EDM processes. This investment has consolidated JL French Ansola as a global supplier of aluminum injection parts, with high precision machining and assembled components, mainly destined for the automotive sector (OEMs and main TIERs).
IDOM has carried out the Detail Engineering, the Procurement Management and the Construction Management of the complete project -EPCM services-, paying special attention, if possible, to the environmental aspects of atmospheric, acoustic and visual impact, incorporating two systems of independent smoke purification and a wastewater treatment plant designed for zero discharge with tertiary treatment.
